View Full Version : Modelling a glass brick wth max ?
Sam75 04-01-2007, 02:53 PM Hi,
i first thought to be able to get something looking good with just some noise as bump map, but finally it doesnt look good enough so i decided to model it.
Do you know how to model and render with max/vray a realistic glass brick ?
thanks

Ummm, a glass brick? Umm, well, here, make a material with the specifications like i put below, and tell me if this is close to what you are looking for. This is a texture I made for making ice, I think it should serve the same purpose. Tell me what you think. Its the best thing I have to offer without more information.
Material Type: Reflection
Transparency Material: Falloff
Luminosity Material: Falloff
Bump map: Mix 75
1st slot:Smoke
2nd slot: Dent
Upper transition .7
Lower transition .3
Dont use the curve
See if that works for ya. Its a fast rendering ice texture i made a while ago. Like i said, with all you provided, thats about the best i can give you, without more detail. L8r.
