Hi there,
this is my latest finished picture and I want to share it with you.
Its based on Ziro Egloos's concept (warrior). (http://ziro.egloos.com). Also special thx to my friend Robin Benes (TES) for help and tips.

Picture was made in 3dsmax 9, mudbox, photoshop for textures and Brazil r/s for rendering.

Any c&c are wellcome

Yea, I saw this in WIP thread you made. I'd have to say you put alot of work into this, much props to you. Awesome and Good job!

This smaller version doesn't quite make the larger pic justice, I recommend people check out the last page in his WIP page to see a larger one with more detail :D
But maybe the smaller size gives it a more painterly look, that I first noticed here... Anyway, I seriously dig this pic, as I mentioned in the WIP thread! The face has so much character.

I like everything but the cape. It seems like it was painted in photoshop. Of course I haven't seen the WIP thread, so it might have been. ^_^

Could you tell me how you managed to get a nice displacement map for max? Cause i cant' get a correct displacement map. Many other people seems to have this problem.
The map map is always buggy or doesn't work.

thx for comments

about displace I generated them in Mudbox, but here I used just normal maps (also generated in mb) its faster with almost same result as displace.

here you cas see shade and wireframe.
