I am having some problems when I make a displacement map.
Here is the mesh that was made in Zbrush:

When I bring the low res model into Maya and render it with the diplacement I made in Zbrush, I used Multi Displacement 2 to make it and I also tried just using the Create DisMap button, this is what I get:
Front View:

It seems I get these wavey lines and I get triangular or square displacements.

What am I doing wrong that gives me this?

Hi

Yes, that's stupid :), it's happens to me alot (I don't know why) but this can help you. In material editor when you import displ. map in "coordintes>blur" put on 0.01, by default it's on 1.0.

Sorry man, I thoght you work in 3Ds Max, now I saw it's maya, I really don't know where is that option in maya, because I don't use Maya.
