Hi all,
I am trying to get a blood drip. I wanted the blood to be more elastic(high viscosity), so that it stretches and drips.
Am using Realflow and Maya. I am gettin the particles rite in realflow. But the meshes are quite big in realflow.
if any of you can help me plz.

Not sure where exact is your problem. But you need a combination of particle systems to drive such effects.

You need the Thick particles and Thin particles. The wetness on the surface should be simulated by wetmaps from RF and shaders in Maya. Another thing you want to do is first create the wetmaps freeze the simulation on those, then drive the blood fluids on them. The speed streching and the mesh radius are probably you have to worry about size adjustments.

For example if the blood is dripping from a sword, you want to make the thicker particles start simulation from the tip of the sword and falling onto the floor. The thinner particles then driving down the sword from different place but should never get to a point where they are clustering at the tip.

I did something similar long time ago. It was water droping from a wet umbrella. Apart from the difference in fluid behavior of water and blood, this may or may not help you. I tried simulating it with one type of water to fall from the top of the umbrella to the tip and it didn't work. I placed diffferent kinds based on their position on the umbrella so the tip doesn't get too clustered with particles. You can adjust the stickiness at different places of the sword to get a better flowing down.
