Paralumino releases Pacifica training video for the Electric Image Animation System.
Paralumino Creative Studios announces the release of Ian Waters’s and Brian Pohl’s Pacifica training video for the Electric Image Animation System. Pulling from their combined expertise, Ian and Brian tackle the issue creating realistic bodies of water for both still rendering and animated purposes. This release includes five videos which include:
Bodies of Water – In depth analysis of the Runwave deformer and the breakdown of various render layers for realistic water.

Reactive Peaks – Utilizes Noise Factory 1.5 to set up reactive conditions on the surface of the water to mimic separate layers of foam.

Floating Objects – Basic analysis of deformation inheriting and techniques to produce floating objects and a drifting camera.

Animpaths & Object Surface Conformity – More advanced techniques for conforming a traveling object to the surface swells of an ocean utilizing Paralumino’s Path2Line and Northern Lights’ Pathfinder.
