I entirely have remakes the head and I would have to like your opinion on what you think, because that that I had made before too was resembling with another graphic designer. Thus one breaks all and one remodel all!! Voiloù

Bon j'aime beaucoup ton modele il a des belles formes originales en particulier le pli(muscle) sur la joue et les plis sous le menton...Continue et enchaine avec le corps...:buttrock:

Merci Martyyr25, je vais tâcher de lui faire son corps (enfin je l'espère) ;) mais avant je pense travailler les textures/ bump et spéculaire puis pourquoi pas lui faire quelques cheveux et un joli chapeau.

It's good to see you again.;) Ok i recognize my first test for goblins are not really really personnal. :annoyed: But for this character i think you have not critics about copying or another thing, i hope. (maybe with "Mister clean", I do not know if you know this french publicity?) :) . Anyway, if you have a critics or comments without model/anatomy, i need it for evolving!!!

I have somewhat to improve the mesh in particular the ears, I think of stopping there for the details of the face, that think about it?

you should try to model the whole model by yourself, i think you would learn much more ;)

but anywaysmuch better than the last attempt ;)

I really like It!!

Only thing i can critic is your texture...

Its kinda too much dirty... and too saturated.. too redish hehe

And maybe a little more bump to give a thickness to the skin :)

veins, bumps, scars, pretty nice :)

Why cant you use translucence in Maya? Every material got a translucence attribute in maya....

By the way you might wanna change is eye color... Green is kinda happy looking, something brow and a little bit of red should do the job, if you want a scary look..

And maybe try to change the color the of teeths... right now there are white.. MAybe some brow yellow :)

YEah I forgot to mentioned that...

Maybe with eyebrow and some little eyelash... very tiny eyelash or else he'll look like a woman or gentle

Hi, you have put some interesting textures on your character, I only have trouble with his mouth its too diferent from the color of the skin, the transition from the skin to the lips is a little bit too sharpy... and the picture called hdrface is the most realist..I think!

But man its great! :buttrock:

I will remake his broader mouth with teeth worthy of this name.

Well, i have modeling a new mouth and new bump/specular and texture too (aouch i'm tired) . I have added detail in model.
Moe (it's her name) is with snow ;)

Later i add accessories (hat and armor) and worthy teeth too.

Man that last image was incredibly awesome. The new textures and slightly tond down light just kick some major ass. Two comments; The teeth, well you already mentioned that.
Second his nostrils are glowing!!!
Actually one more. His eyes now look a little dull and lifeless. Maybe its just the lighting but it I, personally, would like to see them a little brighter.

Theeths.. Shouldn't be straight and white!! And to me too the eyes kinda have no life... Maybe if you take the eyes with tears you got a couple of post ago :)

Question : how you use transclucent in maya (for the ears)?

First tests of "skinning" to see the deformations of texture. PS :DO NOT pay attention to the teeth, they are provisional.

ok.. translucent should work this way..

You probably have one texture page for the head itself right?

if you do, simply use the same and color it black and white...
put whatever you want to not be translucent white and whatever you it to be translucent black.. You might have to change black for white and vice versa.. i dont remember lol

Map this to the translucent channel in the shader you used for your head!!

And you'll have to turn the raytrace option on.. or else it won't work if im right!!

Should work!!! If it don't let me know and i'll try something else

Wow that looks really good. I really like the creases in his top lip and the texures and modeling are really good. I think a few sprigs of hair would look good also try to increase the shadow samples or DMap resolution to get his nostrils darker. Just as a matter of intersest is that my skin shader from Highend3D you were using in the first renders? :)

Well, for u're question.....i'm sorry but, in the first test rendering it's a simple shader from Alias that I used because I liked returned to see the details. that's all cu later for over rendering!
What did you think about nose, i would like to change but i'm not "really" sure.

I took again the corp that I had to start. I think of "falling" still the details from the corp because it will have clothing and I've adding a hat too. That's all for the moment.

I began the texture of the helmet then I have remake the texture of the eyes and to improve the specular map.
I start to model a jacket. For lighting I use an environment HDRI with global illumination then of a spotLight.
What did ya think. Any suggestions are welcome.:wip:
