View Full Version : Atmosphere's haze/fog help~??

Hello all vue users~
I'm having hard time playing with VUE6 xStream atmosphere editor here, I was wondering if you guys can guide me into where I want to go...
I have a huge environment in maya, which I have populated with VUE plants and terrian.
My problem is that when the camera pulls out to see the view, it gets way too foggy or hazy. Here's the render.

And this image below is what I wish to see. Less Foggy/hazy and crisp view.

I tried zero'ing out the fog and haze density but all it did was really brightened the sky up to the point it was almost white.
Can I get some advise and help from you guys out there~? please ^^

In the atmosphere editor, go to the sky fog & haze tab, and reduce the "aerial perspective" value.
This setting shrinks or enlarges the skydome , it is used to adjust the skydome to fit your scene.
