Hellow Everyone!
It's my first topic her!
but it's not relevant to my question!
I just want to ask:
which virsion of maya are the use in there movies?
and who it call there first part of there movies?

looks like they have some nice teaching tools, the schooling probably would be a better way to go, although much more expensive.

I'd guess 4.5, but give them an email.

They used Irix in a bunch of the movies, but now they have moved to OSX for everything =)

doed they works 4 regular maya
i'm working with maya 4.5
can i learn from there movies somthing
or i will not understand anything because
there movies not on my virsion?

there may be minor differences in the menu names, but thats it. as long as you are running a maya version more current than the one in the videos you shouldn't have any problems. and basic knowledge of maya and its menus will be more than enough to enable you to follow along.

oh yeah, big time, get the Maya movies at 3dbuzz.com, he has 2 CDs worth now and is working on #3.

They are great and the first one is almosy all UI, panels, buttons, controls, apply shaders etc etc. they are great for learning the hard part.
