Title: Sharp Ice Burg
Name: Matthew Lee
Country: USA
Software: Lightwave 3D

This is a weird ice burg I tried to do in 3D. This it is not a normal ice burg. Most ice burg's are either flat or have some type of shape to them, but this is a really different shape (so I called it "Sharp" ice burg). I was thinking about doing a regular ice burg, but then I wanted to work more with this thing. Lightwave 3D and Paint Shop Pro was also used. Any comments or critique is welcome.

It kinda looks like a giant crumble of paper in the ocean :P.

Ice that thing should have more translucency to it I think.

Just some suggestions. Iceburgs aren't terribly translucent for the most part, so that doesn't bother me overly.
However.
They're too smooth. Try a small size noise material in the bump mapping to give it some texture. You might also try a noise map in the specularity slot to give it some sparkle.
Iceburgs are usually not clean either, There's dirt brown and green and various dirty colors on and in the ice. The blue shadows are very nice, and the water is excellent though it might be nicer if you pushed it just a wee bit toward the green. Deep sra water is quite a bit darker and shades a bit to the green.
