Hi, i'm trying to render a Vue scene in Maya or 3DSMAX with the VueXstreamplugin.
For some reason it is not working correctly, it's always rendering images with spots everywhere.
It's very important to render in 3DSmax or Maya because the company i'm working for only renders in Mental ray (Maya/Max) with an Fish eye / Dome lens (they make animation for Imax Theators). And because we work with different packages we need to render in multipass but i can't even render an Alpha or Zdepth Map.
They software we're using is: 3DSMax 7-9, Maya 80 -8.5 And Vue 6 Xstream (latest patch). I tried all of them but none of them seem to work.

Here is an example of a render i made (maya 8.5).

The image itself seems to render very good

The Alpha map, the are spots inside the mountain, the closer you get the more holes and spots you get.

http://www.shiskebab.com/images/vue/zDepth.jpgZmap, seems very messy, spots everywhere.

I tried every possible image format and option but none of them give a better result.
Rendering the image in Vue 6 itself seems to work perfectly but that's not really an option for us.

So hopefully someone can help because we're trying to solve it for the last couple of days without succes.

Do you have fog or volumetric atmosphere enabled?

These image we're rendered without fog or volumeric atmosphere. Just the default atmosphere.

How did you even get 6 xstream to work with 8.5? I thought it didn't support that.

There is a new Xstream plugin update on the E-onsoftware site for Maya 8.5.
