When I using maya 7 or 8,I can move the points symmetrically with the "reflection" setting on .
But I do not have the tool setting about reflection in rotate and scale.
I know , in maya 8.5 , this setting is embed in maya for rotate and scale.
I just have a try on the mel command something like :
"rotate -r -rfl -rao -rax -rft 0.001 -p -0.125cm 0.543618cm 5.573773cm -os 0 0 -6.716766 ;"
It dosn't work in maya 8.0, though there are the arguments written in docs.
So, can I be lucky enough to use this symmetrical function in the low version of maya?
