Looking good....though, I would try to give the orc more detail to at least equal the knight. But in overall, I woul give more detail to both of them :)
Keep it up :)

Good start !
I would work a bit more on the modeling of both models !
Your Orc is missing detail in your texture and should work on the body proportions .
The guy has small tiny fingers , that coudn't even hold a sword !
Work on the proportions on both !
Good work so far but long ways still.......!:)
I wish I could add more details to them both - but I can't :thumbsdow - I have to finish a 3 minute animation of two orcs fighting the guy, and I have to do it by May. I also have to make the horse that the guy rides! Oh... and if I want sound then I have to have the exact timing finished in 5 weeks.
Both of the hands are too small I know now - they were the right proportion when I modelled them but I guess hand shrinkage is a symptom of meshsmooth.
It's my final uni project, which is why I can't spend too long fixing stuff like this. I hope that these points won't show up when they are moving fast in the animation.

giving the ork stronger arms and hands would really improve its a appearance.
I have already skinned my orc and I don't really want to re-skin him now. I am using the Skin modifier and Character Studio 4 in 3ds max 5 - would it be ok for me to just scale up those bones? Does this work ok?

Too fast? Too slow? Any comments?

Hi celt !
The orc seems to be limpping from the left leg !
As he comes forward you can see him standing more on the left leg than both ! And maybe this is the way it was intended !
But overall looks great ! Keep posting :)
I like it a lot !
He is supposed to be doing a kinda neanderthall style 'skip'
