The interface is totally different from max4:insane: . Where is the animation bar? Is it hidden, or do I have to animate in track view?

Please help I need to do a project fast, and I can only work on max 5.

Post any tutorials for character animation.

Or any tips of your own.

Thanks in advance.

errr ...

there's some changes, but not that much !!!

If you know how to do in max 4 , you will have no pb in max 5 ...

How to animate ... :)- such a question :)-

Maybe you just have a UI problem ?

now in max 5 there is SETKEY button in addition of Autokey.
SetKey is 10 time more comfortable then the previous animate button. with setkey, you can key just some controlers, a selection set of objects, ...etc...

But it's still the same philosophy than in max previous version !!!

hey ... don't you have the help menu ?

I did exaggerate a bit didn't I. Well, I do know how to animate in Max 4. I just need to learn how to use the new way, because the old way is not there any more.

Like where do you scroll back and forth to see the animation? I don't want to be clicking play, and rewind all the time.

I will check the help menu and see if I can't figure this out.

Thanks.

If anyone knows of where I can find tutorials please tell me.

Oh, and by the way, I'm not clue less. I just got Max 5 not too long ago, and haven't figured out how to animate in it, I know almost everything else though.

OK, I figured it out, it's not that complicated actually. Why didn't I think of reading the help menu before? Doh :insane:

Anyway, thanks for the help, now to work weeeeeeee:wip:

God I love this stuff.
