Title: A Day for Butterflies

Some days you wake up to a beautify morning and you just want to go out and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. In this mood I created this illustration in a technique I’m well fond of. Again a collage of flattened images recomposed to create a surrealistic scene of beauty and elegance. I tried out many different colour combinations and concluded to this one where lime contrasts against soft pink and a dark red purple. I found the colours worked amazingly together giving the whole composition a note of retro which suited it perfectly.
So don’t waste any more time, strap your corsets on, grab your butterfly nets and grasp the day!
