joose 03-27-2007, 03:10 AM ive set up a slider on a nul that is the driver (color change) 0% - 100%, and i have a material color (R) set as the driven 157 - 247,.. the problem is its not working,.. lol,.. i thought it would not shure where iam goin wrong, any help would be great!
i have done this with the other G, and B,.... i was trying to set up a slider to change the color of my material,,..

Regardless what you set the interface to, internaly colors are always real values. If you want 0% - 100% red you need to use values of 0 - 1

Hey joose,
What Srek means is, while each of the RGB sliders goes from 0-255 inside Cinema it's treated as a value of 0-1. So you wan the output range of the Range Mapper node to be Lower = 0 and upper = 1
As I'm sure your aware you'll also want to set up a slider for each individual color channel, if you simply set 'color' as the driven attribute you'll end up with different shades of grey as all three sliders will be linked.
