View Full Version : Advanced splinemanship...need help

Hi,

I'm working on this character, and need suggestions on getting the splines just right.
I plan on re-using the head for other character (including facial expressions), so I want to get the layout right the first time around. :-)

Please check out the images below, and tell me what I can improve!

Looks pretty slick right now. Try a few face poses to see if you run into any problems.

:beer: completely agree with Wegg, loved how you solved the nose and nostrils joining to the rest of the face.

You do have 5pt patches directly at the corners of the mouth though. Nearly all the rest have been relocated beautifully away at the ear so you get minimal creasing (sorry AM!) there. Though i did spot a couple of three pointers under the ears after I posted..:D They shouldn't give you problems but...

Please post more when it's complete.
