I have one at home:

http://www.amazon.com/Animators-Motion-Capture-Guide-Development/dp/1584502916/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2/102-3342188-4391366?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1174948252&sr=1-2

That book is incredible. Focuses on marker set-ups for a passive optical system, so you're getting info on the most widely used type of system. What you aren't getting is a detailed description of the softwares/techniques you'll need to process the mocap data and retarget it onto a character. For that, you'll need to dig around a bit.

Check the MotionBuilder forum and look how XSI and Maya are implementing their new mocap/animation toolsets. The SoftImage Wiki has some good articles, as well.
