View Full Version : tuble with the unwrap in bake!!
i want to use a uv mesh that i flattened in the uv editor for the render to texture baker but it unwraps the mesh in a new way..now i looked over the help file and found that i have to check the "prevent reflattening" box at the bottom in the unwrap rollout but it doesnt work..either it unwrpps it automaticly anyway or i just get a black rendering..how do i get the uv data that i unwrapped to use in the baker??

Save your unwrap data, then after doing a render to texture load the unwrap data into the automatic flatten uv's and check prevent reflattening. Then rerender.
worked perfectly ...thank you very much!!!!!

Check out the script "Bakersfield" over at Scriptspot (http://www.scriptspot.com), it's interface is designed around the idea of not generating new UV maps.
