CGTalk - BRAZIL and Max

I got a copy of brazil finally, and the first time i followed a tutorial by Mihai Pocorschi III (http://www.visualart.ro/tutorials/hdri/hdri_e.htm) , everything worked out fine, but the second time i tried working with HDRIs, i couldn't get the GI working, i just get a dark scene, i followed the tutorial, and i dont understand whats going wrong.

Does anyone know any other good tutorials about HDRI and max?

I suggest you do all of the simple but very useful tutorials that you get access to when granted a license. I did them all over a weekend and learned more in two days that I had fiddling around for a week.

Also, you're going to get better support using the registered user forum.

There is also a HDRI plugin tutorial available from Splutterfish at http://www.splutterfish.com/gabry_hdri_tut_tmp/.

I had the same problem, and I found that the scene goes dark when you put the light and turn it off. Just play with the lights .....

ah allways read the manual you get with Brazil. I've solved every problem with Brazil by doing so. :>

Pa meni je bilo isto i u viewportu i u renderu .....
Moram priznati da nisam stigao mnogo da se igram s tim , ali sam siguran da ima neke veze sa svetlima, ostavis default lightning i dobijes ok render :)

Inace iz Beograda sam, trenutno sam u Pancevu , razmisljam i ja o odlasku iz juge ....
Reci mi nesto vise o tvom poslu, kad si otisao itd...
