I'm fairly new to ae so this might be a really basic question but... I want leaves to blow across the comp, so I made a large picture of leaves then made a black and white version of the same image to use a custom shatter shape along with a gradient to control the shatter and I added a wave effect to make the leaves rustle a bit more. It works great except the custom shape leaves (no pun intended) a large cutout of the outline of the leaves that goes across the comp along with the other leaves. I thought I would be able to fix this by adding a stroke around each leaf in the black and white version of the picture to pad the borders a bit but it didn't work.
Can anyone help me? If I didn't explain well enough, just say so and I will upload pictures to help illustrate better.
