Hell everyone, i'll be entering this challenge, question of practicing my modeling skills, i'll be doing Tony Montana from Scarface(1983) hehe. Ill post my base mesh soon!

Ok hehe, had to wait for my thread to be validated so yea. I finished the base mesh and did a quick zb pass, its far from done, but here is it anyways, If you have any crits or comments ill be glad to hear them thanks for viewing :)!

hey mate,sweet start.
my suggestion is try to keep your low rez face as squar as u could.for example,the rectangle on the neck will cause issue when u detail it.:)

yea you are right, i think what im gonna do is make an edge loop in zbrush on the neck. :)

hey everyone! Done for the night, played with the shape and blocked in the major skin folds and rinkles, anyways just wanted to show how i proceed for that part, crits and comments welcome as always! :)

hi, will answer here the questions you asked me in my thread ( i just seen your post before seeing your T.montana.. ou l'inverse je ne sais plus :) )
sorry ill speak in french.
je trouve le fast sss de vray bcp trop lent au rendus, peut etre 10* plus que le standard, et mon but est de m'en servir pour des animations. avec mes derniers tests, je suis à 25sec de rendus pour une full face en gros plan en pal.
Pour la 2eme question, j'avoue ne plus me souvenir du pourquoi du comment de l'affectation du map ! je n'ai pas vray sur cet ordi, mais j'y jetterais un oeil la semaine pro.
i love your T.montana, it's really acurate. the last one is cool. the only things a little strange ,are the eyes. ( enfin, le contour; mais lorsque tu y rajouteras les yeux, ca le fera surement ).:applause:

Well almost done guys! Still some stuff to be done,a WIP, but it has been a good practice, its my first time doing textures for a human, and using the SSS properly, so i learned alot, which was the point i guess :), thx to visionmaster for the SSS :) , which i modified and suited for my own puprose, so basically, here it is , crits and comments welcome as always! Thx for looking!
and now with my great photoshop mouse skills :P, with hair!(Just to give me an idea , cause ill make it in max :P)

here is another shot at the model, i dunno, im trying to make him look like him, its not easy, but im still trying , anyways here it is . Ill be putting some hair soon i hope hehe. At least now he looks less like a dead head on a pike lol...
