Hey positive,
i'm not sure what your asking for?
Do you want to export alpha maps for shadow?
OR
Are you trying to lower the shadow density?
Could you post an image?

Your english is fine.
Render>Output
>Buffers (It's rollout, not a tab)
From here, you can check what kind of passes you want output as render.
The Green 'Dots' mean they are active and will be rendered.
The Red 'Dots' mean they are inactive, and will not be rendered.

Is the COLOR buffer 'Green'? If not, enable it by clicking on the 'Green Dot' next to it.
Also, you have to save your image in one of the correct output formats such as .tga, .rla, .psd, .rpf.
You can't check 32bit images fine in windows viewer. Try opening them up in Photoshop or something similar.
I will be away for a while. But I'll look into this once I return.
Happy rendering. And keep trying. I hope Wegg or Chikega jump in here! :)

I tried. But not complete.
ㅠ.ㅠ
How do I render 'shadow density'??
When you turn on the Shadow Buffer you also need to define how the buffer works. If you expand out the block (F3) you can see "Modify Output Buffer". Click that on and . . . just leave it at its default values. It should work as you expect it too.

I'm back.
Sorry to hear its not working for you. Maybe we need to go into detail here.
But I dont want to confuse you!
Anywhoo...
Part I
Shadow Density
The only way you are going to get nice (less dense) shadows is if you use any of the light types, but not Directional. Because Directional lights dont have a fall-off. So, you should choose any of the other light types, to have access to fall-off. You can start with Point light. Adjust the fall-off to your liking and according to your scene depth. Keep the type of fall-off to inverse Square. If you do a preview render now, you will notice a nice start and end to your light.
Make it Sexy!
With the above set, under RENDER>SETTINGS>Illumination, keep Light Source to Direct, and GI Type to Monte Carlo. Dont touch anything else for now. Just hit render. You will notice a nice fall-off on your shadows!
If you have the RAM and the CPU power, you can turn up the GI Samples upto maybe 6, and turn on GI Noise Reduction. This will give you a better looking render.

END OF PART I
Hope this helps you get nice looking shadows.
Let us know how your coping?
Wegg, thanks for swingin' by!

Yeah, thats the workaround I use.
For simple scenes, its alright...and you can get by.
But its a major pain in the 'you know where' for complex scenes.
I couldn't believe there was no 'reduce shadow density' button in Messiah in the beginning.
But I got used to it, like wih many other things.
For example, I would really like a 'proper' (full-featured) render preview dialog box, like the one in max. You can easily compre your before-after renders, check for your alpha, z-depth, and other passes right from the dialog box. Also, a feature I'm liking in Vue 6's preview box is when it pops up a 'render-fix' option as soon as the render is done. It allows you to apply all sorts of post-effects on the final render before you decide to save it!
I dont know if we can have all these features implemented in future revisions, but it doesnt hurt to hope!

The shadow buffer has been fixed. Not sure when or in what version they will include it but its working great now.
