I've got a character running in place. I've copied/pasted frames so I have a lot of frames of the motion. I need to have him gradually increase the speed of his legs/arms moving until he gets to a very fast rate. What's the best way to get this gradual speed up? I know how to scale frames but I'd like to kind of get a general velocity curve that let's me take the overall sequence of keys and make them gradually close together.

There are a few ways to do this, if you want to do it in 3d you have to have character sets. You could just manually scale all of the keys simultaneously for each loop of the animation. Or use the dread trax editor which is sort of difficult to get the hang of.

But I would do it in post by time-scaling the animation with a curve. You will end up rendering more frames than you need, but it will be the least laborious of the options.

Cool. Thanks for the suggestion, i had forgotten about time sliding in post. I've give that a whirl.
