Hi everyone!

My name is Alexander Damm and I'm graduating in a couple of months from gsCEPT (http://forums.cgsociety.org/www.gscept.com) school of computer graphics in Sweden.

Animation has always been my big passion but it's only during my last year here at gsCEPT that I've had time to really explore the realm of character animation. This short film is a result of four months hard work. During this time I had to model, rig etc so I had roughly two months for animation. Gscept is a general computer graphics school covering almost everything from traditional lightning to advance dynamic courses, game development courses and film history. Since our time wasn't dedicated for our final projects I wanted to concentrate as much as possible on the animation when I was working with the short film. Use of Hamish's (http://www.macaronikazoo.com/) excellent rigging scripts sped up the rigging process. I planned to make a playblast of it but I had some time over after the final milestone so me and Mikael Widegren started to light the scene and remodel the environment. Mikael modeled and textured the trees as well as the ground. He also created the paintFX used as grass with flowers. This extra effort was made over a weekend so I'll have to say that we're pretty satisfied on how it turned out.

The music and soundfx is original work by Robin Åkesson. Very talented and always looking for new interesting projects to produce music for.

Special thanks to my mentor and friend Nicklas Andersson
