Hi,

I am wondering if some lighting person can help or some ideas on render passes.

I have a simple scene (a box) that internally is lit by one point light and global ill, all good

But want I want to achieve, is done by adding a spotlight for shadows, BUT, i dont want the spot to add to the illumination of the scene, only create the shadows.

I have been trying but I can get it to do it, is there any way it can be done?

I didn't want to render mutiple times and comp unless I have to, as it eats more render time.

Thanks for ideas.

Kery.

hi KerryTouch,

create your spotlight with the shadow-type switched on wich you whant to use. duplicate the light, disable the shadow for the duplicated one and inverse the intensity value.
thats all. :)
