When using BodyPaint (I'm on Studio9.6) is there a way to select all points (or a group of points) and easily collapse them? I can scale them down, down, down to the limits of zooming but its too many steps and the points never really merge.

The reason I want to do this is to have colored noise in world space assign a random color to an object. If all the points are collapsed they will all get the same exact color, otherwise there will some color variation which I don't want.

Thanks!

select all of your points, open the UV mapping manager (the one with Mapping/Relax UV/Projection/Transform/UV commands) click on transform, set the scale to zero for u and v and then hit apply.

The "Clear UV" command will collapse UV points for you if you need in a single press, the only limitation is that they will be moved to 0,0, however if you have the move tool active when you use the command then it's only a matter of clicking and dragging the collapsed point back to where you want it.
