Title: Naute Shur - Dominance War 2 Entry
Name: Daniel Wood
Country: USA
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop

This was done for the 2nd Dominance War comp, created using 3DS Max, Photoshop, and Mudbox.

Definitly alot of good artwork comeing out of this comp, Everything in the scene is fully normal maped and Low poly. Had a blast making this guy. The concept for this bad boy was done by Chris de Joya "Snowfly".

These are the rest of my final entry sheets...

This is really solid work, Daniel - excellent topology and texturing. Love the concept too. I'm not a huge fan of the background, it doesn't really do your work justice, but it's a small crit. Great work!

You might need to check your lighting. Seems you have a really strong light coming from the bottom right which is giving you the bright highlights on the legs. But then you have a dull light up the top left giving the shadow of the head. Just two different light sources casting shadows. It might be affecting how your normal map is being displayed.

Other than that, I'm a huge fan of low poly stuff. Being a game student myself, I can see how much work has been put into this. Great design, well done!
