View Full Version : need critique FAST project due March 7th
MoeHaidar 03-06-2003, 03:34 AM This is my latest character, made using 3D studio max
I'm doing a book cover for my Illustration class. The cover will be for a book about computer animation.
I'll show how I went through each step from the initial sketches to the final render with max.

the head looks good but if you added some shoulders it would help the character look more whole. post up the mesh

good job, but you need to change the body.

I think the mouth needs work.
That open position looks a bit 'forced' out of the mesh, any chance of a wireframe?
Cheers.

i like it. sorry its late, but go with the new body. like the texture, really works well - only suggestion, try doing something with eyes brows - have one raises, it'll realive bring the character to life. good luck
its th 7th in the uk now, so you've got 5 hours yeah...?

Looks nice ..... the ears are a bit small !
Don't think you'll make it for 8:00 if you need all of the body for your book !
Well good luck !
P.S. the texture is quite nice too !
Looking good!
I may suggest that you put a little more chin...
The ears look too thick for me.. and maybe a little too small
and the shoulder.. its kinda breack the mesh.. hard edge!
But you did a good job
Hope you'll have enought time to finish it lol
