modeling over all is good but i think you should improve lighting...try to get more contrast to simulate a daylight overexposed effect.

i think you should imrove composition..
- my eyes dont know where to look.. it is frustrating for the viewer as you may already know..
for example i think its not a good idea to cut his legs like this with the edges of the screen.
- no matter how good the modeling, the lights, etc are, if the final pic's composition is ruined, all of the work is ruined.
but of course not in 3d , in 2007 :)
so i would say find a better angle..

- and make the mood a bit more specific..
right now, this picture tells me nothing about the guy.
no expression on his face, no tears and dirt on his cloth.
did he spray that graffiti over there ?
do those beers belong to him ?


the background and the textures of it are nice,
but you have to work on the character and on the picture itself more..
i hope i helped a bit..

And last but not least: where is the punk? All I see is some skinhead guy with a big peace sign on his trousers(the most skinheads I know wouldn't even wear that by night in a dark, dark tunnel) wearing a heavy metal band shirt. Nothing punk related in no way.

but then i started to see that this guy (punk, skinhead, whatever) is plainly doing nothing just drinking beer or something all day :) no work, no family, no goals, just hanging around on streets/pubs..
lot of people call these guys punks, so why couldnt BlackBlaze call this guy punk :)

Thanx a lot guys, I really appreciate it that you all are helping me :)
Now that you people have mentioned it even I am thinking the lighting is a problem, you know I was thinking of having a night scene with the street lamp lighting him from the back, kind of have a cool dark shadow. what do you guys think of that.
the actual idea with this I mage was to emulate my brother. The t-shirt is made-up but the pants are not (maybe here in India bald guys do whear that, who knows) but I agree the lighting and the mood suck in this image and I will deff improve it.
