View Full Version : houdini books
Fred Flintstone 03-06-2003, 01:22 AM hello,
I'm currently ramping up for a position in which I will have to use
Houdini extensively. Does anyone know any good books or
reference materials that could quicken my learning curve? Right
now I'm just using the tutorials.
Thanks, Fred

i actually dont think that there are any books out there about Houdini yet.
stop by 3D Buzz (http://www.3dbuzz.com/) - they have a pretty cool free online class thingy going, with downloadable video tutorials.
Odforce.net (http://www.odforce.net/) seems to be the other top resource, esp their houdini forums.
hope that helps.
(and hopefully we can get more and more interest here at CGtalk. )

well, I only have been diving into Houdini for several days now, although I am super impressed with it so far. I had this feeling when I started learning Maya > the program really makes alot of sense. So far I'm totally digging it.
