Lol , not any more as far as I know....hehe it incredible the resemblance of some parts of southern Spain with those american western deserts.
If I remeber correctly Conan was also filmed here.

Well I can't speak for the others but I have been and in may parts. Been to the Northwest (Galicia were the report is speaking about), Deep South Andaluzia, Northeast Catalonia (Barcelona). And there is a major difference between people, wealth and attitudes.

My brother lives in Barcelona, and it is oh so nice. Going in June this year! Good to see animation doing well.

Alex de la Iglesia filmed a short of a spaguetti western called "800 bullets" by Alex de la Iglesia, I think it is the latest western filmed in Spain, and it was great! :)
