Hi,

I saw a plug-in for Cinema 4D called DRIVE! (http://www.heyne-multimedia.de/c4dplugin/indexx.php), and I

was wondering if anyone knows about a similar plug-in for Autodesk 3ds Max or Autodesk Maya.

Physically correct vehicle animations
Perhaps you have already attempted to make an animation of a car. It is no big problem with a leisurely driving

vehicle but as soon as dynamics become a factor – for example, with an oversteering racing car or an off-road

vehicle on rough terrain – then it becomes much more arduous or almost impossible to achieve convincing results with

classic key frame animation.
With DRIVE! you'll be amazed how playfully easy it is to make an appealing animation of a car.

Ok, I've gotten a reply from both.

Craft animations gave me student licenses valid untill June 10, 2008. And they also said they were willing to extend it if I still need it at that date.

Newplugins offered me 50% off the price, but I still don't think the price justifies my needs.

Anyway, is there anything very important in Vehicle Studio Car and Truck Edition that there isn't anything equvalient to in Craft Director Tools, and is this so critical that it justifies the reduced price $299,5?

I know a plugin for 3ds max called Vehicle Simulator! Another is Reel Motion.

i'v downloaded vehicle studio demo version from the it's site and when i install it i just get pdf and text file.....any help plz:)

You can find all the Vehicle Studio plugin under modifier, in Max panel.
I try the Max 8 version time ago, without any problem.
