Title: Old Peoples Home
Name: Andrew Walker
Country: United Kingdom
Software: 3ds max, AutoCAD, Photoshop, VRay

This is a old peoples home which will be built soon. In total I spent about 10 hours on this image. It was a very rushed job so did not have time to play too much but I am happy with the result.

Very nice result, look very well. But I see something weird on the shadows that are castin in the building. The shadow is much bigger that the objets that are casting those shadows, it looks some kind of extrange. I like the rest of the image, congrats.

those trees look a little odd.... they have some kind of border or a white glow, probably because of the opacity map ....overall it is a great work, nice texturing , lighting, i'd give it 5*

Overall nice work for 10 hours, although there are a couple of thing that stand out:

1. there seems to be a huge gap between the eaves and the guttering (shadow on the walls)

2. if the sun is casting so much shadow (very high elevation), the shadows from the trees should be shorter.

3. the reflections in the glass are too strong, out of scale, and those on the right should be reflecting the left of the building.

Just my thoughts.:)
