im currently working on a school project, i finished texturin my model and the UV
the problem is how to paint a realistic texture in photoshop?
what's the brush what's the layer etc
can anyone tell me ?

Unfortunately it isn't simply a matter of using the "layer" and "brush" in Photoshop, it's a matter of understanding how texturing works - texturing theory. Researching and understanding texturing theory is the only way to being able to create great textures, since you have to understand exactly what does what and why.
Textures such as the ones on that character were not simply created by pressing a few buttons, they were painstakingly painted in accordance with texturing theory :)
I recommend that you do some research into texturing, get yourself a book or do tutorials - read up on everything that you can on the subject. Also take a look at peoples textures that they have made for their characters - it is the only way to learn how to create your own :)
