Any suggestions on this?

Ive seen it done and know the concept how it can be achieved. By moving the camera slightly in thearound the focus as a pivot one can achieve this. Max has this.. and motionbuilder does this realtime i think. However that MEL is beyond me and wonder it anybody has more information on this :)
