Good day all! I think this is one of the problem that the solution would be extremely simple but just difficult to locate.
For acedemic reasons, i recently converted over from Maya to Max 9, and i got the Max version of MJPolyTool, but i found that some fundamental functionalities are missing, one of them is the ability to modify the position of the split.
To be more precise, let's think a rectangular prism, i select an edge on the "long" side, and hit MultiloopSplit, it puts in a loop in the middle of the loop, but i can not having it cut 1/3 of the way and so on. (In Maya, by default the cut is placed at .5, which is in the middle, but you can change it all the way from 0.0001 to 9.9999 and bring the loop closer to the top/bottom face)
Im doint this to put in divisions to put in the creases of a model that is going to be smoothed later on. Hopefully someone can suggest a solution of recommend a better script than MJPolyTool that will allow me to do that.
Thanks in advance!
