a geek job: upskirts, robots and sadomasochistic angry nurses... just a fun trip.
in the final design wich can be seen on my blog, i've mounted it to a picture of an old record found on the web, so the main scene goes on the cover, i've added a band-like name wich is my name actually and the round frame is on the record itself...
thought it was an original presentation, anyway...
i tryed a couple of things...
mainly the angle of the shot, wich is something i'm trying to familiarize with these days...
and the black and white treatment... taught it fit well with the german-like theme...
had a hard but fun time with the smoke/explosion in the background... didn't know much how to start and where to go but i got inspired a little by mignola's work...
if any body got good references for 2d illustrative smoke...
i kinda like the manga type one wich seems so realistic but i'm missing some exemples...
