Hi guys

I want to make realistic wavy hair with Max Hair & Fur. Have tried with splines and with guides, making them all peak and trough in the same places, but the hair interpolates and smudges out the waves. If I switch off interpolation, I only get hair where the guides are. If I place the splines very close together to limit the interpolation, it ignores some of them and only obeys ones at intervals.
Anyone else had to solve this already? Be grateful for any wisdom.

Since posting this request, I've found a promising solution.
1. I was using far too coarse a mesh for the scalp, since it has low detail. It needs a lot more guides to be visible
2. It needs the guides that will create the peaks to be longer than usual, to bridge the trough and reach over the next peak.
3. It needs the guides in the troughs to be trimmed much shorter.

I won't say that I've had brilliant results yet, but it looks much closer to wavy hair than it did. Maybe this could be of help to someone else with the same problem.
