Ooh. Pretty.
It's amazing how quickly these become second nature --- a few of those I thought, at first, were new to me; then I realized I already used them, I had just ceased to think about it as a step. I would love to hear about everyone's own, custom hotkeys as well; anyone got a favorite set to speed up your workflow?
Mine:
Ctrl-U is scale uniform
Ctrl-1 is rotate X
Ctrl-2 is rotate Y
Ctrl-3 is rotate Z
Ctrl-G is store selection;
Ctrl-Shift-G is recall.
(I think control+shift is much easier to use than control-alt; touch-typing, you only need to move two fingers instead of most of your hand --- more one-handed hotkeys are possible. Go ahead, try a left-handed ctrl-alt-u. You'll need a knuckle -- at least I do.)
I assume everyone knows about using TAB to give a numerical argument; but that's a favorite of mine.

Im pretty happy with the default layout of hotkeys, so the only ones I add are T for tweak mode, H for tools>connect (the tool that allows you to draw an edge between two edges) and N for vertex/target weld. If youre interested in hotkey layouts meant for speed modeling, then check out this thread:
