CGTalk - lcd monitor again

so, which LCD monitor for computer graphics work? I've read reviews of so many monitors, but it seems that every one has some kind of crappy CONS such as color banding (hello Dell 2007WFP!), unnatural colors, backlight problems and bunch of other stuff.

so i'm thinking of a few hundred dollars monitor. I've heard that EIZO monitors are awesome, in which case i could afford only a 19" model such as S19x1. what do you guys think? should i go for Eizo? or would you recommend some other stuff

If Eizo will make you happy then get it. Also, check out NEC & Samsung. Maybe even live on the edge a little and do a SEARCH in these forums. After all, you are the "3D Guru" so you should know what's best for your computing needs. :thumbsup:

well, it's really impossible to say which monitor fits someone's need best until you've tried them out first. there are so many models out there at same prices
