View Full Version : geforce 4 420 go toshiba and direct 3ds max not working

I got a toshiba satellite laptop 2450 with a nvidia geforce 4 420 go.

I had format my computer and install max xp service pack2 and done all the updates. download the last drivers for the graphic card for the toshiba site and the last direct x for windows site.

but with max 7 , 8 and 9 my direct 3d doesnt work or the viewport are black or have a really wird performance.

Is anyone one got a similar problem with nvidia geforce 4 go and max, and what need to be solve 3dsmax or the drivers for the graphic card.

Since the latest nVidia drivers don't seem to solve the problem have you tried reverting to older drivers? It'll be a p-i-t-a to go thru the process but might be worthwhile in the end.

thanks for the info my 2003 drivers works well a pity lastest drivers are not working.
