Hi,
I'm a max user and just downloaded C4D R10 demo from maxon's website. Since I'm new to C4D the first thing I naturally do is run for the help file. Could someone confirm this bug where the links in the help file will stop working? (I'm running on windows, btw)
1. Open C4D, and in default mode it will come up as the perspective view the only view.
2. Open the help file (Help > Help...) and place the window over the perspective view.
3. Start navigating the help file. Click on links on the left hierarchy pane, then use the scroll wheel of the mouse to scroll up/down both the left and right panes.
4. Now without clicking anywhere, move the mouse over the perspective view and use the scroll wheel of the mouse to scroll. This will result the perspective view to zoom in/out (...at least in the default setup)
5. Now move the mouse back over the help window and without clicking, scroll the mouse wheel. Since the focus is still on the perspective view, the perspective view should be zooming in/out. Now click the help window and scroll the mouse wheel, which will result in the help file content being scrolled up/down.
6. At this point, ALL links in the help file will stop working. If you click any link (either in the left or right panes) no help content will be displayed. The program does not lock up or anything, only the links in the help file won't work any more until I restart C4D.
I just sent this report to support, but I want to confirm if anyone can reproduce this.
Thanks,
