addicted2_3D 03-05-2003, 06:15 AM I can't seem to get a boucing ball done properly in C4d particals. Any suggestions? I've tried soft bodies coupled with the approiate gravity, etc. but no love. Any suggestions?

animate the ball by hand, I mean its a ball most basic first step in animation

I have just tried to make one with dynamics and it was not so hard after all:
Make Solver, add gravity
Make plane, convert to poly put in solver
Make sphere, reduce division to --say 6 convert to poly, put in Hypernurb, put in Solver.
Solver: eps to 10, Runge-Kutta
Assign hardbodytag to Plane, colission on(box, 5% coeff),mass 0,elasticty 10%
Assign softbody to sphere, add soft springs (cloth)
turn on colission(full)elasticity 50%---
render preview, voila---
nice bouncing rubberball.
Of course he can animate it by hand, but I think he is confused by Dynamics (which is understandable as it is really not very intuitive).
