Based on Archmodel 3D template by Evermotion.
Maya 8.0 Poly & Nurbs Surfaces modeling.
Mental Ray Physical Sky/Sun, Global illumination and Secondary Bounces Final Gather.
Mental Ray Architectural Mia Round Corners materials.
XFrog Tropical Trees & Plants with Misss Fast Skin materials for the 3D vegetation.
Ctrl Fur and Ctrl Displacement to control fur and displacements.
Ctrl Buffers to output Ctrl Occlusion Pass, Shadow and ZDepht Passes.
For Shadow and ZDepht passes, I used the P_shadow and P_Zdepht shaders by Ledin Pavel aka Puppet.
Except for the Rpc 2D plant applied in post on the low right corner of the images, everything is strictly 3D.
Original Maya file size: 185 MB.
Software: Autodesk Maya 8.0 & Mental Ray
Hardware: Athlon 2.8 2.5 Giga of Ram

Very good detail good lighting & modeling Just one remark, my own feeling is a little disturbed by Anti_aliasing Congratulations!! :applause: 4*

The banana tree feels a little synthetic in comparison to the rest..

Shaders and modeling look very good. But I don't know about the lighting, I think it could feel sunnier, too much contrast maybe? First, I would try increasing the gain value of the mia_exposure_simple.

Good job anyway. :thumbsup:

Think you did a grea job. I really like the lighting and detial. I agree about the one tree. It does look a little fake. I wish add that the water in the pool seems to high and the would around the pool seems to reclective, wet. If you were going for a wet look maybe add some dry and wet areas. Other then that very well done. Keep it up!

I agree with you guys, I overdo with reflections, but I was going for a slight wet look, around the pool!
Anyway the big achievement was to render a 185 MB. maya file with an old 2.8 Athlon with 2.5 Giga of Ram!:buttrock:
