View Full Version : correct size of texture in MAX's viewport
Xaint 03-05-2003, 03:07 AM MAX shows up the textures scaled down to lower res. in the viewport, how can I fix this? Please post!:bounce:

you need to go into viewport settings, then to drivers (open gl for me) and then where it says texturesize or sth. lilke that, you choose the closest matching... for 512 choose 512 ;)...
for 715 choose match bitmap as close as possible (and 512 (?))
also activate one of the clickboxes to get a hires picture...
i haven't got max installed so i can't look but i think there was a detailed description in the Joan of Arc Tutorial right at the beginning...

I have a kyro (32mb) here. Does anyone of you know some programs or tricks, so that i can use open gl too? :hmm:

OpenGL is slow for me too. I have a GF4 MX440. Now, I use D3D, wich is much faster. I don't understand, OpenGL should be faster on Nvidia cards.:shrug:
