View Full Version : HELP!! I need concept artists!!

Hello all,

I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right area, but I have an urgent need for some 2D concept art for a meeting on Friday, March 7th!! The meeting was scheduled by the client, and I can't really move it. Our current concept guys are cranking full tilt to get some art by Friday, but we need to throw more people at it.

Please contact me via email (floyd@icepond.com) with some links to some of your work and your day rate. All emails will be handled with the strictest confidence.

I realize that two days is not a lot of time to kick something out, but I'm in a bind. I don't expect the Mona Lisa, just some rough sketches of some characters and locations. I have pretty good descriptions of things you can work from, I just need some rough visuals for the meeting. This could also lead to more freelance work.

WOW!! I'm seeing some really incredible things!!

My inbox was flooded with concept artists responding to the post, so it's taking me a little while to go through everything. By this afternoon, I'll be contacting people via email with instructions on what we need for Friday.

If you don't get an email, don't get bummed out. Hopefully our meeting Friday goes well. If it does, we'll be needing a lot more concept art, with much more time to do it.

Sent an email hope to hear from you! personally I can crank out quite a bit (I do about 70+ b/w finished illos per month for RPG games).

Hey everybody,

Just an update: the meeting went well. We rounded out our concept art books with just enough artwork to cover our bases.


I want to thank everyone who took the time to send an email and art samples. Hopefully we'll be looking for more help soon.
