View Full Version : Can't Save Preferences

Hi guys. I have a problem with saving my preferences in Maya 4.
Whenever I try to save my preferences,

"Warning: Not all preferences were saved. See Script Editor for details."

pops up on my status line. I checked the Script Editor and discovered that there was an extra / pointing to the file

for example-->

Error: Can't open the file C://maya/4.0/prefs/shelves/shelf_Shelf2

how can I get rid of that extra / ?

I hope someone can answer this I get a similar problem like this occasionaly. Saying it cant save prefs, deleting shelfs etc.
It pretty much resets Maya to defaults but deletes all the shelves "even the default one". Only remedy I had was to keep reinstalling.:(
