This is a character I'm working on for my thesis project. Modeled in Maya 4.5, Sub-d's and then converted to polys. She will have hair at some point and then (hopefully) will look more feminine.

Merci beaucoup... oui, je pense que ses lèvres sont trop minces et son nez est trop grand. Mais aussi, comme j'ai dit, les cheveux ajouteraient beaucoup.

(and no, I don't speak a word in French, I just used an online translator)

Hey Ido,
Nice to see more updates on your thesis. I'm curious about what you want to accomplish with your model or maybe a little information about the character. The model is definetly well done, especially the forehead. I can see that it's not being easy to make the model look female.
So I'm guessing this is an older woman and also that you wanted it slightly stylized. If it is an older woman, some things I might try. (You know my speech, only if you want to) Older woman seem to have really thin lips and of course less elastic skin and more wrinkles. The nose is large and flat as well are the ears. Women have smaller and sometimes pointy noses, also it seems a lot of them tilt up a little, but then again, I'm guessing you stylized it that way.

It really is a wonderful model though, if you didn't say "she" I would have thought it was absolutely perfect. Well, except that little dot under the nose? What's that? ;)

I just checked out the hand animation at your site and I thought that was very good Ido, keep up the good work. Rosco's hands were a pain in the bum so I appreciate how good of a job you did. :)
Keep em coming,
Chris

Oh, I was checking out the Computer Art site of SVA and the movies, I liked them, but there wasn't enough. :)

[EDIT] Just saw the subject "Old Woman" haha, sorry Ido, I'm tired.
