View Full Version : FBX export
I am trying to export an animation from C4D10 to Maya using the FBX6.0 export function. I've read about the limitations of FBX, and adjusted the scene accordingly, but Null Object animation does not translate at all.
Have I missed something or this another limitation?

I don't know what the textbook answer is, but I just finished a project with heavy Maya<->C4D integration. We found out the same thing... Null Object animaton didn't export via FBX. Our workaround was to change all the Null Objects to Poly Objects with no geometry (which can be real un-fun depending on your scene). Luckily we caught it early and animated the rest of the project with empty poly objects.
