Hi everybody, after a long time iīm working on a new piece. This is also an exercise for me to come in at painter, because the last month iīve working at the competition of becks... and this was only vector drawing...
My new Picture is a simple scene of a young girl how wipe off her body after a summer rain. iīll paint the piece kompletly with the new demo of painter X... and i have only 15 days to finished;)

its not finished... but i think its really nice till now.... i like the rough style... and all the strokes of the new bristle brush system of painter... but interesting for me is what you think about my new picture, have you some crits? some tipps for working with painter ? is something completly wrong... is the light bad or the compostion?
hope to read from you all here... http://forums.cgsociety.org/images/icons/icon7.gif i will update this forum the next days... till then all the best und a good creative week!

Great pic man!
Maybe the face and hair seems to miss some highlights. Her skin below the towel(her a**) seems to be a bit less saturated then the upper part(her shoulders).Maybe you could put in some shadow of the towel on her right leg.And maybe some more texture on the towel.
I love the brushstrokes too!Nice job!!!
Time to get a shower now:D
Thanks Okmer!!!http://forums.cgsociety.org/images/icons/icon7.gif i overworkd many parts in my picture... add foam, foldings, some textures (in the background ) start painting the little gecko... i know i have to add more details and textures... are other mistakes or crits? pleaase say it!...

Nice progress. :)
The only thing I can think about mentioning right now must be the watter running down her body.
It looks very thick, doesn't really remind me of water. ( or is it foam?)
Try to make it more transparent, and adding tiny highlights on top if it.(If it's supposed to be pure water)
Be careful with adding highlights on the parts that tend to cast more shadows than the rest of the outstanding bodyparts.
I like the pose though!
thanks Noukah... yes its foam, but your right, it looks a little bit curious... i will change it to real water include your tipps over the weekend...
greetings gune
ok... after the weekend i change a lot ...

You know, I sort of liked some of the messiness that was in the hair before. Now it looks a little too perfect. The skin looks nice and wet in this one, but also I think you might want to bring back just a TOUCH of the water dripping off her that you had done before. Also I thought the muted colors of the background in the previous pic was better than the highly satured background you're using now.
I don't mean to say you're making negative progress though, because the hair and skin is an improvement over the previous version.
One more thing that would be nice is if you did something to make the towel feel fuzzier, because ATM it has too much of a sketched look compared to the rest of it.
Oh yeah, and I almost forgot....cute butt!!!

I like the finished product, but I do miss that 'dreamy' quality the sketch had. The rough background from your WIP also gave it a nice Beauty & Beast-like contrast, whereas the new rather expensive looking wallpaper gives it all a, I don't know. Kind of like a high class brothel from the early 20th century feel to it. At least from how those are displayed in movies, since I wouldn't know.

Much better.
I like the finished piece :)
Looks better with less bright colors. It blends nicely with her skin.
Cute gecko ;)
Hi everybody, many response in different communitys and i decide to make a lot of changes...:) why? cause your all right and painting is a lot of learning :)
here my changes and i love my new version more then the last and i donīt will change it again.. because i think a picture is never finished... so i hope that i can add all the new crits and commands in my new picture.
- removed the background texture, cause it dosenīt fit really to the rest
- the eye is smaller and has more deep
- little bit more brightness and wetness
- overall look change to a painterly and rough style because thats me... thats what i like...
- color change i gave him a more cooler look... not so warm and glariness colors... it looks mysticism i think
- add just a bit more water...
so thats all
so folk hope you enjoy it... what do you think?

I think that the earlier version looked so much better.
The colors in this one feels a bit washed out, and too greyish.
But hey.
Maybe it's just a matter of taste!
Everyone has their own style of colorschemes.
On the whole, I think it turned out nicely :)
I still like the cute little gecko! ;)
Good luck with you new paintings!
